Conestoga JV gets back on track versus Harriton, 43-36

The Conestoga JV won in a game of runs against Harriton. Although short-handed with only eight players dressed for the game, Stoga got off to a good start with contributions from multiple players and led 13-7 after one.
Harriton’s defense stymied Conestoga in the second quarter, however, and the Pioneers could manage only two free throws and trailed 15-16 at the half.
It was the Shane Scott and Scott Martin show in the third quarter, with Shane scoring 6 and Scott hitting for seven, allowing Stoga to not only regain the lead but create a sizeable 35-20 margin by the end of the third.
Harriton answered with an 11-3 run in the fourth quarter, and got with 3, but it was not enough as Wes Brace knocked down clutch free throws in the final minute and Conestoga held on for a final score of 43 to 36. Next up for the JV squad is a holiday tournament at West Chester University on December 26th & 27th.
