Main Line boys’ basketball squads tip off 2018-19 campaign

Bruce Adams 12/12/2018 The 2018-19 Main Line boys’ high school basketball season features several strong teams coming off record-setting 2017-18 campaigns, such as Lower Merion, which advanced to the PIAA state tournament for the eighth consecutive year – the longest current streak in PIAA Division 6A. Stoga and host Indians prevail in Unionville Tip-Off Tournament

by Neil Geoghegan    12/07/2018   EAST MARLBOROUGH – As season openers go, the Unionville Tip-Off Tournament was a success for the host Indians and visiting Conestoga because both prevailed on Friday despite some first-game jitters. It was, however, a struggle for the two Downingtown squads, as the East Cougars lost it early and the West Whippets dropped it late.
