Conestoga got off to a quick start with a couple of baskets by Ronan Mayock in the first quarter, but Garnet Valley responded with a 5-0 run of their own and led 10-9 after one.
The second quarter featured a 6-0 run from the Pioneers, including 4 points from Myles Scott and two from Shane Scott off a steal. Truth Ingram had a couple of baskets later in the period, Brooks Rush scored off a put back and Evan Medley scored off a long pass from Shane. Stoga led 26-18 at the half.
Ronan Mayock drew a charge in the third quarter, and Scott Martin hit a 3 along with Shane and Conestoga was up 34-24 at the end of three.
Garnet Valley then went on a pair of 7-0 runs in the fourth quarter, and despite two clutch free throws from Conner Steele GV went on to win the game 40-39.
