The Conestoga Boys Varsity Basketball Team traveled to Garnet Valley High School to tip off against them for one last time this season. The Pioneers last faced Garnet at home on December 8th and were hoping to get a different outcome, but unfortunately went home with another loss to Garnet 47-65.
In the first half, the boys were poised and at some point, were leading by a couple points. Offensively and defensively, they were causing turnovers and making tough layups while also making a couple shots behind the arc. In the second half, the Pioneers were doing the exact same thing, but one thing really cost them: intensity. The intensity decreased tremendously allowing Garnet to take control of the game and sealing a win at the end.
Conestoga looks to move on from this loss and hope to win on the road again against Haverford High School on Saturday, Jan 28, at 7:00 PM.
