The Conestoga Boys Varsity, JV, and Freshman basketball teams swept Springfield High School on Wednesday night on the Pioneers’ home court. The Freshman started the day with a 27-26 win in a defensive battle. The JV pulled up next and its hustle outlasted Springfield’s play, taking the game 34-29. The Varsity closed the evening playing against a highly disciplined Springfield 1-2-2 defense but fought hard and ultimately pulled out a 29-28 victory. With the win, the Varsity improved to 7-2 in Central League play and 10-3 on the season. Next up is Harrison in another Central League contest.
