The slightly earlier start time to Saturday’s game resulting from possible inclement weather may have led to a sluggish start by Conestoga. But paced by Milton Robinson’s 3 makes from three-point range, Stoga jumped out to a 19-14 lead. Behind a smaller sized, pajama-clad, enthusiastic PIT, Varsity used some aggressive, trapping defense led by Evan Medley to stake a 38-25 lead at the half.
Conestoga kept their foot on the gas during the second half and carried a 53-40 lead into the final quarter led by the tremendous all-around play on both ends of the court from Milton Robinson. The fourth quarter saw everyone get some game action and valuable varsity experience.
