JV returns to its winning ways with decisive 55-33 win at Marple Newtown

Conestoga began the game with a 12-2 run and never looked back. Scott Martin scored eleven consecutive points including three 3’s. Truth Ingram had a couple of buckets and a couple of blocks, and Myles Scott had a couple of steals and baskets in the quarter. Ronan Mayock also chipped in with 2, and the quarter ended with a 23-8 advantage for the Pioneers.
Conestoga started the second quarter the way they began the first, going on a 14-0 run that featured eight points from Brooks Rush including 2 threes, a three pointer from Conner Steele, and a block from Wesley Brace. Stoga led 37-20 at the half.
The Tigers came roaring back with a 6-0 run of their own as Conestoga began the second half with their typical 3rd quarter lull. However, Shane Scott then answered with 6 points and Brooks Rush had 5, and the Pioneers were up 48-26 at the end of three.
Evan Medley and Jacob Bierstaker came off the bench in the fourth quarter and provided some solid on the ball defense defense and good rebounding for the Pioneers, who cruised to a final score of 55-33. Scott Martin (14) and Brooks Rush (13) led all scorers.
