Conestoga got off to a quick 8-0 run in the first quarter, courtesy of two threes from Connor Steele and a bucket from Wes Brace. Things didn’t get any better for Springfield midway through the first, as fresh subs from Stoga went on another 8-0 run, comprised of five points from Thomas McGovern and three from Myles Scott.
Truth Ingram kept up the pace in the second quarter for Stoga, hitting a three and a two, and it was a 30-10 advantage for the Pioneers at the half.
Scott Martin hit a pair of three for Conestoga in the third quarter, Evan Medley hit a basket, and Brooks Rush scored off a “lob” from Jacob Bierstaker.
In the fourth quarter Jacob hit a three, Jason Brockman scored inside and Deacon Mayock got his first bucket as a member of the JV squad. The final score was 58-26 in favor of the Pioneers.
