In the Conestoga JV home opener on Friday night, the team showed great ball movement, defense, and smart alternating of penetration and outside shots. First half highlights included several drives to the basket by Emory, Smith, and Steele. Barczak and DiMarino clinched the lead with a pair of three-pointers. And solid defensive play by DeShetler, Piccone, and Troy helped shut down their opponent.
In a fast-paced second half, Mayock and McGovern drew key fouls, while Murphy and Ridder helped seal a big victory over St. Elizabeth’s.
