Pioneers Improve to 7-2 in the Central League

The Conestoga High School Boys Basketball team led from start to finish, disposing of host Harriton, 53-41, Jan. 18th to remain in a deadlock for second place in the powerful Central League.

Junior Ben Robinson and sophomore Rowan Miller formed a dynamic duo for the Pioneers, combining for 35 points and 12 rebounds as the Pioneers improved to 10-4 on the season, 7-2 in conference play. Robinson tallied 19 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 2 assists while Miller had 7 rebounds and 7 assists to go with 16 markers.

Senior Brendan Styer and sophomore Cory Hogan also made key contributions to secure the win. Styer had 4 steals and 3 assists in addition to 7 points while the 6-3 Hogan scored a half dozen points and snared 8 rebounds.

The Pioneers will be idle until Tuesday, Jan. 23rd at 7 p.m. for showdown with Maple Newtown at Conestoga HS.
