After a last minute postponement due to condensation on the playing floor, Stoga and Springfield matched up on a rare Sunday afternoon tilt. Stoga came out shooting and ended the period with a 16-8 lead. Mike continued his aggressive rebounding and helped Stoga maintain the lead at the half 27-21.
It was a closely contested 2nd half with both teams trading baskets. Springfield pressure allowed them to get it to 50-46 with 1 minute left but some clutch foul shooting down the stretch helped Stoga hold on for the important Central League win 54-50.
