Westin Fryberger leading the way overpowering Strath Haven 62-30

With senior Westin Fryberger leading the way, the Conestoga High School boys basketball team overpowered Strath Haven 62-30 to set the stage for a showdown with Radnor, Saturday Jan 6 at the Pioneer PIT.

Fryberger poured in 17 points, including four shots from three-point range. He also grabbed four rebounds. Junior Ben Robinson added 11 points and 3 steals while sophomore Rowan Miller contributed 10 points, 3 assists and 3 steals.

 “We challenged our guys about coming out with a lot of energy, positive attitudes no matter what happened, and they did exactly that,” said coach Sean Forcine. “If we keep bringing that attitude, good things will happen for us.”

Conestoga improved to 6-4 overall, 4-2 in the Central League. Radnor trails only Lower Merion in the standings at 5-1. Tip-off for Varsity matchup is set for 12:30 on Jan. 6.
