Conestoga Names Sean Forcine Head Coach, Boys Varsity Basketball

Sean Forcine was appointed Head Coach of the Conestoga Boys Varsity Basketball Team in July 2022.

Conestoga Athletic Director Kevin Pechin announced long-time assistant boys Varsity basketball coach Sean Forcine ascended to lead the Pioneers following 16 years serving as the Boys Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach under Mike Troy and the prior four years as Head Coach of the Boys JV Basketball Team.

A true Pioneer, Coach Forcine graduated from Conestoga in 2001.  He was a multisport athlete, having played in the basketball program all four years and in the school’s soccer program for two.  During his Conestoga basketball career, Coach Forcine was a starting point guard and shooting guard for the Varsity basketball team.  He was named Most Improved Player as a junior and a Co-Captain as a senior.

Active in the community, Coach Forcine founded the Pioneers Basketball Camp in 2016 to help local youth build on their skills and learn the game with a focus on sportsmanship.  He has vast experience as a basketball clinician, including volunteering at St. Joseph’s University, Herb Magee, and Sky High basketball camps. In addition, he has played and refereed in local leagues, and holds individual and group basketball training sessions.  He is a big believer in establishing a positive “Attitude” culture for the Conestoga basketball program and community, as well as continuous individual skill development for players of all ages.

Coach Forcine currently works as the Associate Creative Director for Orion, based in Berwyn. He graduated from Lehigh University in 2005 with a B.S. in Marketing and minors in Graphic Design and Psychology.
