After Conestoga’s fourth-quarter rally fell short in the Central League semifinals, the Pioneers are turning their attention to the upcoming district tournament.
The 55-50 loss at Radnor on Feb. 10 came after Conestoga had cut a 10-point deficit to 3 in the final minute.
Ben Robinson, Westin Fryberger and Rowan Miller all reached double figures for the Pioneers. Robinson finished with 14 points while Fryberger had 13 points and seven rebounds. Miller did a little of everything with 11 points, 3 steals and a pair of rebounds.
“It was a tough loss for our guys,” said coach Sean Forcine. “We played really hard and made a great comeback, but hats off to Radnor. They consistently scored at the rim and we need to do a better job of protecting the interior, especially against cutters.
