Seventy-two points is enough to win on most nights, but this wasn’t most nights. The visiting Pioneers connected on 10 three-pointers – six in a first quarter that saw them open up a 26-9 lead. At halftime, Conestoga led 41-27, and it was an uphill batter for the Colonials, who still trailed 58-44 heading into the final quarter. The Varsity travelled to Upper Darby Thursday night hoping to close out the regular season with a strong effort and maintain their rankings in District 1 6A. Mission accomplished plus the added highlight of having Zach Lezanic score his 1,000 career point on a drive to the basket early in the 2nd quarter! Stoga JV fends off late Ridley rally!

Tonights game found our beloved Pioneers looking to extend their 8 game winning streak and forcing Coach Forcine to keep his lucky beard – but the Ridley Green Raiders weren’t gong to make it easy. Varsity outlasts Haverford in OT 62-55 to stay in playoff hunt

With the temperature dropping to single digits outside both teams got off to a slow start in this key Central League match up. Stoga was able to hold a 14-11 lead after one thanks to 2 Shane Scott three’s and some hard earned points in the paint.
